NOTARYNotary & Apostille
Many documents signed in the U.S. must be notarized and authenticated before they can be used in China or elsewhere. We prepare, notarize and route them for you.
What we handle
- Notarization by an Illinois notary public, in person at our Chicago office
- Powers of attorney, declarations and affidavits, drafted or reviewed by an attorney
- Apostille from the Illinois Secretary of State for Illinois documents
- Apostille from the U.S. Department of State for federal documents, such as FBI background checks
- Documents for use in China, which joined the Apostille Convention in November 2023
Notary services are performed in person in Illinois. We do not advise on Chinese or other foreign law; please confirm the receiving office’s requirements.
